As far back as I could remember, I felt passion for creating and making stuff.
I began DJing and producing music at an early age. By 17 years old, I was DJing nightclubs in Los Angeles (with my fake ID). I spent most of my UCLA college years working as a videographer in rock clubs with the hope that one of the bands I was filming would get me to direct their music video, so I could begin my directing career in film and television. The LA music scene was the best it had been in years, with the rising of System of a Down, Incubus, Hoobastank, Def Tones, Cypress Hill, and many others.
It was during this time that I had the opportunity to direct the Apex Theory video for Hope Diggy, it became the longest running music video on Mtv 2 at the time, and the rest, as they say, is history. Between 2000 and 2008, I directed and edited over 100 music videos and commercials. for artists including John Mayer, DMX, Trey Songz, Master P, Camron, Daniel Powter, Powerman 5000, Jerry Seinfeld, and many more. During this time my work was nominated for various industry awards including MTV VMAs, Source Magazine Awards, BET Awards.
Between 2009 and 2010, I received a crash course in creating and selling television shows while having the opportunity to work with Vin Di Bona Productions, famed game show creator Dick De Rick, and many others.
I began selling my own shows in 2009, and between 2009 and 2016, have sold over 10 series and made many sizzle reels, presentations, and pilots. Some of the networks Ive created content for include A&E, History Channel, Netflix, Discovery, CMT, TruTV, Spike TV / Paramount Networks, MTV, and more.
With the emergence of plant medicine, including CBD and Cannabis, in 2016, I began building a lab that would supply various emerging brands with groundbreaking products.
I direct, write, edit, show-run, and generally love making shit, whether that be brands, films, tv shows, art, photography.
